Same problem here, but even more urgent. I didn´t get any email concerning tomorros show in Düsseldorf...and the support didn´t answer me by now. So, anybody got any news, where and when the Meet&Greet will go on?
Thanks

Just so people see it here too:

ATTENTION EUROPE/ASIA PACIFIC DONATORS: You should receive email the day before the show at the latest from the coordinators about what time to be at the venue. You should also check the related thread under 'Upcoming Shows' to see if any donators posted email they received.

And any donators who DID get that email, please kindly put something in that related thread to help your fellow fans. :-)

can anybody tell me how the camera policy was/will be at the european soundchecks and meet & greets?

since you could bring a SLR to the US shows anyway, there shouldn't have been a problem, but since the camera policies at the european shows should be as strict as always i would like to know if i could at least bring a SLR cam to the meet & greet. i contacted the heineken music hall but got no reply. i would be pretty bummed if i wasn't allowed to bring it in and i would have no problem with leaving my bag at the wardrobe afterwards during the concert.

cheers,
tom

i'm also wondering about bringing an slr to the meet & greet / show. i've checked some of the "previous shows" threads, but i haven't seen anything saying one way or the other. anyone know whether they're allowed?

there's a picture right now in the homepage from the berlin soundcheck... and if you look closer you can find a girl with a slr winking smiley

I am growing increasingly frustrated by this all thing, I am now following Eric on Twitter and sometimes I happen to have tears in my eyes for someone I do not even knowsad smiley
Trent first said For all participants ($300, $1,000 and $1,200) and now exchanging mails with the ninsupport team, it seems like all packages have been sold.
Oh well nevermind just wished they had updated the homepage.
Doing something great should not come with a reward as I should feel happy money may save a life, so I am a bit selfish but would have so loved meeting Trent.
Happy day everyone my Lux concert is in 5 days and this is the only thing on my mind.
My thoughts are with Eric and his family, he MUST hold on!

UPDATED - Ticket gone, thanks for your interest

When I bought the tickets for the $300 tickets for the meet and greet (in London), I didnt realise that 1 ticket got 2 people in! So as I got 2 tickets I may have one up for grabs if anyone is intersted in buying it off me for the price I payed for it.

Can anyone confirm to me that 1 ticket definately gets 2 people in? I emailed the support address but ive had no reply.

If you are interested in the ticket pm me. Cheers smiling smiley

It is with deep sadness that Veronica de la Cruz announced this morning that Eric passed away.
God bless.

Very, very sad news. Makes you think about the great thing of having everyone around you healthy and alive, and to appreciate it. Life is so fragile but the memories Eric gave us are not. It feels weird, but Eric's condition gave thousands of fans something fantastic and I really hope he felt how he was part of giving away something (together with NIN), not the other way around.

Indeed sad news about Eric. I wish our contributions could have been of more immediate help to have saved him. Let's hope the system changes.

Am replying also in the hope I'd get email notifications of replies to this thread, but not sure whether this forum does that yet.

R.I.P. Eric De LaCruz - I am so glad Trent decided to try and make a difference for this young man in need of some help - Also to show how screwed up our nation's health care system is - I am very happy that I was able to donate, it helped make a difference for him and I was able to experience something that one can only dream about (Meeting Trent) - Finally, I was amazed on how much was raised in such a short period of time - That just shows that there are alot of people out there who care a great deal

07/09/09 2:25 PM

P.S. Does anyone know where I can go to find the information about my donation and how it can be used as a Tax Deduction? I know (Trent) or a (Forum Moderator)posted the information including the Tax ID # for the donation - If anyone could help me out with this please reply to this post or send me a message - Thanks Again!

This was posted on the donation site when it was up:

Letter from Trent:

Thank you so much for you help with this cause. Due to your generosity, we've raised over $850,000.

This response has been overwhelming - so much so we sadly have to stop accepting any more VIP package donations for the North American NIN/JA shows. We simply can't accommodate any more people! We are still accepting multiples of $10 donations and all VIP packages for the headlining shows in the rest of the world. Starting hopefully tomorrow, we'll be offering a limited package of 1,000 collectable / signed complete skateboards generously donated from my friend Tony Hawk. For a donation of $1,000. you will receive one of these and a signed-by-me copy of NIN's rarest CD release, STILL.

Please consider helping if you haven't already - we're showing the WORLD the power of a strong and committed community, and we're quite possibly saving a life in the process. We still have a ways to go financially. Thank you all.

Trent

We're donating 100% of the proceeds to an account set up by the Storey Dreams Foundation for Eric De La Cruz. Storey Dreams Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization and your donation is applicable for IRS tax credit. Tax-exempt number is 95-4295220. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

I know it is maybe like daaaaa.... but can anyone pls tell me if its still possible to buy the VIP thing and if so how can I pay it? Cos Im going next friday to Hungary for the gig and I would like to have the VIP thing. If anyone can pm me or reply here I will be more than greatfull.

07/17/09 6:57 PM

Will the VIP offer be available for the Chicago show on August 28th?

08/06/09 11:20 PM

The fundraiser is over and there will be no more VIP packages for upcoming shows. (Unless already purchased) The final US shows will not have the VIP package. (For all that I know unless something drastically changes between now and the shows. Seeing how the shows have no tickets left and no real on stage room, I doubt there will be anything announced. Plus I'm sure Trent is still plenty upset over the negatives of introducing this community to the De La Cruz family. Yes we did raise a bunch of money and most of us were pulling for the best for them, but after seeing the twitter fiasco I doubt it'll happen ever again.)
