Thank you so much for 2 excellent shows in Japan! Each setlist impressed me greatly as deffernt exciting atmosphere. Of course they were under the defferent weather conditions and the defferent time of sunset though, furthermore there were something more than that.
I'll never forget The Frail and The Fragile in the pouring rain, and The Becoming and Non Entity in the non-stop-accelerating-toward setlist. And then Hurt, especially with the beautiful color of the sunset in Osaka.
After Osaka show, I felt kind of sadness when I thought "That was the last show". But great news! I hope I can see/listen to them soon! And please come back to Japan again.

Uh.. I hope you can forgive me about my poor English.

I'm glad you're not turning your back on this place (meaning, the forums) entirely - thank you.

I'm always excited about post-NIN-tour project news - thanks for the heads up!

(I'm always greatly excited by music news, but because the idea of this equally excites me, I also really hope one of your new projects involves a video game. That would be superb. grinning smiley)

[quote trent_reznor]Two excellent shows in Japan! Thank you. Fun to play and a great audience. Post-Twitter I'll probably be posting miscellaneous stuff in this forum, so check back from time to time.

Like...

I've got a number of things lining up to start working on post NIN tour already, including a secret music project outside nine inch nails I'm very excited about. I can't tell you anything about it yet or who's involved but I'll give you a hint: I'm marrying one of the participants.

More soon (maybe).

You're teaming up with Britney Spears???!!! (Just kidding) Can't wait to hear the new project.

Haaaaaaaahaha!!! Holy shit, the water I was drinking came out my nose when I read that.

Glad to hear there's more in store for us!

Supreme! Can't wait!

Trent,

I just want to say, if you read this, that I am so stoked! I'm so glad to hear that you personally aren't waving goodbye to us just yet. The music industry alone needs you critically right now (not to mention your fans). I'v been a huge fan for quite a few (15) years, and can't think of music without your contributions.

So with my fan grovelling out of the way I have one question :

Is the NIN app still in development for the Android platform? I am so jealous of the iPhone app!

Again, thanks for sharing some of your soul with us for the past 20 years. Also, my wife and I were so happy to hear that you have found Mariqueen. smiling smiley nothing in the world feels like finding a true partner!

Take care!!

If I may constructively criticize for one moment…

I'm of the opinion that the husband-wife collaboration is one of the ultimate music clichés. Even those artists who vow never to work together at a professional level (Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani or Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, for example) do so for this very reason, even when they're constantly asked by the press if they'll ever do something musically creative together (album, tour, etc.). As clichéd as it is, sometimes great things come out of husband-wife collaborations and I don't dismiss all such collaborations as terrible.

Maybe those husband-wife teams are afraid of what could happen if they mixed "church" (their relationship) with "state" (their careers). But I will approach this proposed collaboration with an open mind and no expectations.

Well said, and I am inclined to agree... so long as there's no Sonny&Cher sorta stuff going on, I'm intrigued & interested to see what this collab will produce- and very curious as to who else is involved with the project!

And Mariqueen recently left WIG "due to her recent life and priority changes". Looks like it will be a fulltime job for at least one of the two turtle doves ;-)

Looking forward to future clues and insights. Not hoping for: "hint: I bashed his last record on Twitter"

Good luck with that.
Speaking of wife-husband team, for example, I love what Sean and Juliette Beavan are doing with 8mm.
Hoping Trent will end up with something good as well, possibly in a very different style.

You know what though , I have this funny feeling if anyone can pull it off it would be Trent and his talent , hmm who would sing or break keyboards???

PS: Will we get a chance to here from Mariqueen ( NIN boards version of meet and greet ) , or any of the other live NIN members ?
