I haven't seen heads or tails of my dad since he cheated on my mom.
I'm not really sure where he's living now.
They're separated of course.

I'm fine with my Dad, but I don't do Father's Day or any other "Hallmark Holiday" for that matter; too much to keep track of, too much gift buying, and too many let's have a day for this and that, Happy Flag Day, Happy Mother's Day, Happy I Scratched My Ass Day, etc.

Chrismas and birthdays are all that I observe.

i hate Hallmark holidays. i don't think my dad would care whether or not i got him anything but i would feel bad if i didn't because i got my mom something nice for mother's day (she is def. the type of person who would be pissed if no one recognized her on mother's day, unfortunately).

the only holidays i care about are Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. and New Years mostly because there is always a party somewhere.

and i celebrate my friends birthdays by going to the bar and having a drink with them.

that really sucks, im sorry to hear that =[ i hope you do get to be a father one day though, if not only to make it through that shitty day of the year. hopefully this fathers day will be over before you know it.

me and my dad were never really close until just recently, but i still dont know how you feel.

i like my dad, he's cool, so i always send him a card. he'd take me flying on his days off and tell me stories like how he'd shove muggers off platforms in front of moving trains on his way to the office. kind of like a white collar crime fighter.
