My boyfriend,

Quitting drinking (1 year)
Martial Arts (I do Muay Thai and submission wrestling)
Eating right and exercise.

I never really realised how unhappy I was until I made changes to improve myself.

I´ve been very fortunate:

Yoga.
Quitting smoking (Three years)
Spending 16 months in foster care (believe it or not, I ended up with a very wise parent, made it out of an abusive home and very probably sidestepped a rotten life thanks to all he taught me).
Learning to touch type while in foster care. I now work in a newspaper and I´m the fastest worker in the bunch.
Living in Europe for several years.
Making peace with my actual parents, before they died.
Getting a degree.
Creative writing.
Doing crafts and hobbies.
My friends.

Packing up one day and fucking off from Grande Prairie and moving to Edmonton.

Yea, it's been pretty damn good so far.

Grande Prairie can burn to the goddamn ground.

Gonna make this short and simple for now and prob add more things as time goes on.
*Becoming active in online forums and the internet, helped open my mind to many things and see things from many different perspectives.
*Recieving counseling for depression and the many side effects that come with it. Really helped changed the way I thought of others and myself.
*Getting out to travel the southeast US while working and seeing the beauty in the world, and the fulfillment you get from a hard and productive day of work.
*Falling in love and experiencing a real relationship, sure it ended in heart break but I learned a lot from it.
*Discovering new music and really enjoying it, creates an escape from the world at times or provides the soundtrack to my life at the moment.
*Finding things that I take an interest in and pursuing it.
*Cycling, meeting all the fellow cyclists and making new friends with a common interest. It's a great form of exercise and it really tests your will power to push on despite it hurting and not being fun all the time.

anyways that is enough for now, if I don't stop I may end up putting my life story on here ;P
