I too feel like I'm wasting my life away slaving behind a grossing table.
Nothing I ever do is right and I fuck up all the time.
But it pays well and all my bills are paid, and I can fund my retirement, go on vacation, and buy an occassional pair of shoes.
However it does not pay enough to be able to afford rent anywhere (in California)

I could loose my job at any moment and I should be thankful I have what I have right now. I really can't do anything else because I'm an incompetent idiot.

my job doesn't really suck, but, some of the people i work with suck and some of the uhm, company policies suck, my immediate boss sucks, the boring winter months suck, and the stress of the job sucks, my work van sucks, it sucks during the season when women in their bikinis are laying at the pool and we can not touch, WTF???, but, it is a paycheck, and a profession, and, one day, i will be my own boss, and then i will suck,...is it ever too late to learn the phrase-"would you like fries with that???"

I love the type of work I do, but lately my actual job sucks because I'm in a cycle of butting heads with a new supervisor, and having to constantly defend and back up why I did certain patient testing the way I did. Sooooo, I've started a file--at home-- where I keep all email correspondence, photocopies of the actual work, photocopies of procedures/text book explanations to back it up and I even brought my camera in and photographed a few test things I did.

Sad that people have to be so power hungry that they automatically don't like you for one reason or another and shitlist the hell out of you.
