Things I do to trigger lucid dreaming you mean? Well, having an alarm clock has helped me.Usually waking up two hours or more sooner then I would normally, stay up for an hour or 2 (Do lots of reading, eat breakfast, music) then go back to bed. I don't know how to trigger Lucid dreaming and out-of-body independently and at will though. another thing I do is keep a dream journal. Being able to remember a weeks worth of dreams or so raises your chances of LD or OBE's greatly(When I wake from my second rest, I usually have 3 or 4 dreams in succession by the way). Being still and calm...deep breaths goes a long way also(Mummy your self). Thats all I can think of for now...

i find that my lucid dreaming happens more often when i am content in my waking life. what i can do and how often i have lucid dreams varies. sometimes i think really hard about what i want and nothing happens. my best achievement was changing night to day once. it's almost as if my normal limitations set in when i realize that i am dreaming because my waking mind already has a certain idea of myself.

astral travel i am very interested in. i've only done it twice for a short time. hard to find that right time where i'm caught between asleep and awake while having the proper sort of focus/lack thereof.

Had dream last night. It began with a tidal wave then the zombies came.

Tidal waves often appear in our dreams when are under a lot of pressure or when significant change is occurring. They may be a an indication that we feel a little overwhelmed, that maybe we fear we won’t be able to cope or adjust with what we see in our own future.

ZOMBIES : Think about a zombie in great detail and you start to understand its symbolic meaning. When you see a zombie it has no expression on its face as it just mindlessly walks around unable to think what to do. One dreamer felt very ill at the time she had a zombie dream. So it seems that the zombie expression in her dream represented her extreme tiredness and zombie type expression as she could not summon enough energy to do anything

In another forum we have discussed this topic on lucid dreaming and a lot of people talked about making themselves go into a paralysis state to induce this. I never thought about them being connected although It seems that I have better control in my dreams that happen during the paralysis episodes.

Had an insane dream 2 nights/mornings ago.

I haven't had a violent dream in quite some time but, this one topped them all...

Nothing too crazy about the plot. It started off with a verbal confrontation; a testosterone-induced pissing match that didn't last long. It turned into somewhat of an accidental physical conflict. A few half assed blows back and forth. Then, something snapped...
I felt a rage that was unreal. It was time to summon the strength of a thousand elephants and get the knockout (or worse) with one blow. With a rather unrealistic choice of strikes, I go for the head kick. I can feel how perfect it's thrown from the second that the toes leave the ground... This one is gonna do damage....

and it did do damage... TO ME!
I woke-up to the sight of my blanket flying across the room, my dog jumping up scared to death and, the feeling of a severely pulled groin.
I had actually thrown that kick while sleeping... HARD.
Freakin weird.

I dont think its healthy to induce Sleep Paralysis, I had it quite often after on and off stints in hospital...
