LOL. Fyi though hun, ellipticals do pretty much nothing for you. Yes, its low impact, yes you burn some calories but in the long run to loose weight it is a waste of time. This has come out of my trainers and friends that are personal trainers mouths. You get a much more effiecent workout/cardio session running/cycling for 30 mins. Think of ellipticals as saftey blankets for people who want to work out but not hard.
If you are just starting, start slow. Do one cardio session 3x a week. Start by running/jogging as long as you can. Aim at 10 mins of straight running. Then 15 the next week. Then get up to 20min if you cannot run good. Then the other 3 days do a weight training program. Go to bodybuilding.com to get an idea. And save one day for all rest. Remember though, to get in shape you need to eat right and cut out junk/over processed/fast food. Movitvation/discipline/dedication is HUGE too. If you ever need help or questions, feel free to ask.
