LobotomyBaby member T H E W A R O F A R T Joined: 11/28/07 Location: Greatest of All Belows Posts: 2,995	a fascinating story about this subject.. my stepmom's father is a scientist...he has 7 phd's he's very eccentric...his course of study is the mayan calender... i grew up with all these stories...way too many to tell here..but one that is fascinating.. he would get grants to study the all these great places...once he was doing field work at the pyramids...and one important one..may have been the Giza or whatever...he said one of the biggest mysteries of this pyramid was there was a huge stone of blue granite in this huge chamber in middle of the pyramid...so large that the only way it could have gotten there..was for the egyptians to have built the pyramid around the stone....there were equations all over the walls....and one number kept popping up...it was a long decimal number like...394839.393 after finding that to be a bit peculiar...he jotted the number down... like 6 years later he's studying sound resonance...which don't get me wrong...i don't know shit about it...something about if you match a certain frequency with certain objects...the object becomes weightless or something... well, anyway... the sound resonance of blue granite was that number... that story always gave me chills

I have done lots of studies on the Egyptians and the pyramids and the whole Mayan Calender predicting the end of the world in 2012 as well. From what I have read, the Mayans believed that time and existence can be figured out in mathematical equations. The reason they said the world would end in 2012 is because there was no way they could go past that point in their equations. A lot of people believe that without mathematics matter would not exist, meaning we would cease to exist. Some other people believe that maybe the Mayans believed that this Era of the world would be done and a new Era would begin. There is also the belief that, since its been proven that the Egyptians worshiped the sun, maybe their end of the world would be a few days when the sun would not shine anywhere on the earth. So maybe they built the pyramids to survive during that time. It has also been thought that the Egyptians found out how to harness the energy from the sun, maybe they found a way to store it somehow in those pyramids. These are just theories. But quite interesting to say the least.

sasQuatch_^ member the mau5 is king of hau5 Joined: 04/27/08 Location: Tennessee Posts: 236	I do not believe the world will meet its end in 2012. however i do believe that the end is near. being a christian, and having read through revelations many times, so many things have been fullfilled that were said would lead up to the second coming of christ (which is the very end of the world if you didnt know). the most obvious fullfillment is where it discusses the corruption of all nations. thats happened. along with many other things. im just saying...if anyone ever wants to discuss faith in christ and how to get there...just PM me.

I would indulge in knowing just a fraction of what your dad knows and has seen. yeah, i have a full book of thoughts on the subject just from him....i must say though..his overall theory...is way out there...i believe if a person is so smart...he can find evidence of his theories in just about everything...i don't believe his theory...but i believe he has found many things that no one has...many theories no one has thought about..but you bring all those little things together to form something that's ..way off... this is his theory...and i won't go into details... he has found that every thousands of years...earth has been known to have devastating weather and cataclysmic events.. the mayans predicted these he says he has found a pattern in the gap between these years... he claims that there is another planet that circles our solar system that scientist do not know of...reason being....it puts off absolutely no light...why..because it's a super dense planet...he has even mapped out the elliptical orbit that this planet follows.. when it comes within so many thousands of miles of earth...the sheer amount of gravity causes all sorts of problems here on earth... he says the planet gets a little closer each time it comes by...so the disasters get worse and worse each time around..and this time.. nothing will survive it... he believes the mayans knew of this planet and it's path....for reasons i won't even begin to go in. hint..the pyramids but he also believes the mayans are wrong about the date....he claims it will be 2023. hey, 11 more years...yay!

It's like you actually have a vested interest in creating an apocalypse. In 2012, the only things that'll happen are hopefully an upward-looking global economy, with decreased reliance on oil, oh and hopefully we'll have figured out the bee shit by now.
