I was recently passed up for the position of editor at the paper I work for. Considering that I am half way to a degree in English, I thought I'd be a shoo-in. Why didn't I get it? My manager said I didn't act like an editor. Well shit, if that's all it takes, I'll act as the boss too and earn my place here!

Suge, that really is crazy!!!! You've worked so hard and you're earning a degree in English. What do they want, your firstborn? Or maybe your life blood?? And BTW, how is an editor supposed to act anyway???

No joke. I'm actually at my laziest once I've gotten shit done. That has to be because I can actually relax without worrying about procrastination. I tend to do as little as possible, especially when I've earned my free time. Don't get me wrong though, as I still have an enormous tendency to procrastinate if what I'm doing is just boring, but I eventually force myself to get things done on time these days. Besides, if I don't, I won't be able to have my shit together in the long run. This is coming from somebody that's sometimes a very "All-or-Nothing" kind of guy.

I'm extremely lazy to the point where I don't even want to bother going outside. Also, I live in a flat where I have to climb down the stairs everytime I go out which is really tiring as well. I also can't be bothered at times to go to uni on days when I don't have lessons, where I need to go there to catch up on my work.

I also can't be bothered to write long essays, particularly when I'm in a very lazy mood.

While I can force myself to get this done, I've noticed and have been reminded that I hate looking for things. I'm sure that has to count. It's one of the reasons as to why I try to be organized and there's really a lot of truth to the following quote in my opinion.

Organized people are just too lazy to look for things.

That certainly applies to me because I hate having to search for things. That's why I try to give all my stuff a "home" whenever I'm putting things away.

My laziness is tricky. I'm lazy about certain things. At work I am anything but lazy. I work, and I work hard. I always opt to take the stairs as opposed to the elevator. I also walk everywhere I need to go(have no license and HATE public transit), and I work out a lot. In that sense, I am not lazy.

When it comes to cleaning my apartment, I am incredibly lazy. I live alone and rarely have anyone over, therefore, why bother? It has gotten to the point where I might hire a cleaning service to come in and put the place back together after I get my Christmas bonus. It's just overwhelming now and I simply don't know where to start, so I don't.
I'm also lazy about cooking. It just adds to the mess, and I really don't enjoy doing it.
I'm also lazy about keeping in touch with people. That makes me sad.

1. It just occurred to me yet again, but I'm realizing how much I've come to hate multitasking. I do believe that sometimes multitasking is necessary, simple and feasible, but it happens to suck most of the time. It's also very irritating and inconvenient.

2. I've always hated having homework on the weekends and vacations too. When I'm on any days off, I'd rather not have to think of school, aside from returning to it on the days that aren't off.

For instance, even if I get a shitload of homework, I'd rather get it on a Thursday, or at least not on any fucking day that is right next to any day(s) off. That way, I'd not only have more time to do it over the weekend, but I'd really also have no excuse for any late submissions. In short, fuck receiving homework over the weekends and vacations. I also think that written reports should be given at least a minimum of 2 complete weeks to hand in.

If these examples show my lazy side, so be it.
