my cat.

He's great. He just seems to know when I'm down, and he'll be there right with me. He'll give me that little nudge just at the right time. And for that moment, everything's okay.

We were having a celebration and cake for one of the guys at work as it was his 15th anniverary there. Somehow people got talking about strippers and things because one person used to work at a place where the staff would all talk freely about heading over to the strip bar after work (LOL, I certainly wouldn't want to be that cozy with coworkers!). Near the end one of the female employees was telling a story about how one time in her teens, her friend's car broke down in New Jersey so she went and picked her up. While stopped at a set of lights on the way back, they spotted her friend's parents getting out of their car at an infamous swinger's club and going inside. Ha ha!!!! The place looked conservative on the outside but everyone in the city knew it was a sex club for swingers. Her friend was mortified!

I like a good story. smiling smiley

Two things that always make me smile.

1.) the sound of a baby laughing. They don't know what they're laughing at but it's so infectious you cant help but smile.

2.) watching someone walk into a wall, both figuratively and physically. I'm not saying it's right, but it will just about always bring a smile to my face. (this also goes for watching relatives bounce off the sliding screen door during summer nights.)

I had a hankering for some just today, though I picked up the Trader Joe's brand, Crunchies. I ate about 3, satisfied the craving & am now left with an almost-full bag.
