It really helps me sleep, when Ive had a shitty fucking day. Two of my cat's sleep with me. One (Ivy) will get on the bed, meowing, while I am plugging in my phone, changing my clothes, etc. Then she lays near me so I can pet her while I'm trying to fall asleep. Lily eventually gets in bed and sleeps near my head, on one of the 4 pillows I have, until I get up in the morning. And when I take a daytime nap (for whatever reason...including when I feel overwhelmed), they are there next to me. It's like they know you need them...whether a purr or a nudge to be petted, they have a way of letting you know they are there for you.

It really helps me sleep, when Ive had a shitty fucking day. ah yes, this is pure heaven. both of my boys were mine before i got married (hence wwhy i still call them MY and MINE), and my husband is a pet-whisperer so its been a battle to keep them mine. the last bit to remain is that they both sleep on me, one between my legs and the other next to my neck and shoulder. i LOVE bedtime with my boys
