Took Jesse for a walk this morning. He's walking a bit better on the leash, still jumps around a bit and tries to eat the chain leash, but he's slowly getting the hang of it.

Did a fair bit of work on my latest project, is nearly finished.

I started writing a short story about four friends that run over a deer on their way to a poker game. They decide to take the deer to one of the main character's parents' house, chop it up and hide it in ziplock bags in one of the mother's fridges. Hilarity ensues.

Today I took part in The World's Greatest Shave. It's organised by The Leukemia Foundation to raise money for leukemia research. You make a donation (no set amount) and if you're game, you can have your head shaved (which I do, it's my 5th or 6th year doing this, I've lost count), or you can have a temporary wash-out colour put in, or simply make a donation. It's a lot of fun, but I wish more people would participate for this very worthy cause. The hair grows back pretty quickly, and stronger and thicker. I was the only female to have my head shaved, so they gave me a free bottle of wine which was part of some raffle prizes they had. It's good stuff, Jacob's Creek Sauvignon Blanc 2011.

Another Monday, ugh. At least it's nice out. Can't wait for work to end.
