^ That it does. And the first image linked - the Commodore 64 - was first released in 1982. I miss my C64.

Paying only $190K for my first home in a leafy inner city Melbourne suburb and before then only paying $95 a week rent on my flat in the same. Thing of the past now, when I speak to Gen Y's they say there is no way they can afford to rent a flat by themselves let alone find a house for $190K anywhere near the city.
Gen X bitch a lot but hey we are now investing in a second property.

One of my first jobs was working a Sony shop called 'Walkman World' I remember the first Discman I sold was $799 there were only about 4 to choose from and they were like bricks and were jolly expensive.

Seeing Bowie preform live in his 40s grinning smiley

Now I do feel old.

And ditto machines! Oh, man, when I was in daycare they used to let us draw our own coloring pages and trace them over the purple transfer paper stuff then run them off with the ditto machine for everyone to color. That was so awesome!

Typewriters with ribbons for printing - God those keys were hard to push!

Vinyl LP's & singles on an actual record player

Black & white television

REAL Coca-Cola. I mean the original formula in a GLASS bottle, not the crap they pump out these days (doesn't taste anything LIKE the original)

Groceries delivered to your door by the actual Green Grocer/milkman/butcher - not Internet-ordered supermarket food

Riding your bicycle without a helmet & not having the cops pull you up & chat you about it

Knowing you could "pop down to the shops" for half an hour & leave your house wide open & NO BASTARD would help themselves to your stuff!!!!

Edited after good nights rest, so as to take away the more serious aspects,
Ok, fair warning, I'm guanna whine and spaz out cuz it's late and I'm in a bad mood, and these seemingly unimportant things really make me mad, and you just might get 100 things,
Actual albums and songs that are just songs and not just singles, for that matter, actual physical releases of singles, of course, there will be good music in the future, though. And for that matter, anything cool you can actually have and not just download onto something.
As I watch Married...With Children, shows that aren't made to catch your for a few weeks and be forgotten about, shows that a a little well thought out and original.
Any movie or show I like now, since they'll have new things going on, I've seen movies from my parents time, but there's just too much going on this past two decades, I can't imagine much will be remembered.
Real metal or real alternative metal, and not just soft pop alternative crap, where they just say "shit" constantly.
There only being a few brands for things, instead of getting so overwhelmed with stuff.
Well, that's my spaz out for today, gunna go sleep it off, enjoy...
