I was reading this info about old-fashioned corsets and it was really disturbing! "cracked ribs, dislocated internal organs, miscarriage and death"...

Wasp Waist

Eeek!!!!! Couldn't imagine a 16-18" waist. That's extreme, but that's what they did back then not really knowing any better. It was all about fashion and what society dictated, which is not surprising really.

Corsets are sexy, as long as you don't pull them too tight.

I love wearing corsets, and I don't tight lace. I lace enough to cinch the waist a little and hide the abdominal results of two pregnancies, but that's about it.

Not only that they give AWESOME support for big breasts lucreziag, you should look into one. Don't tight lace it, but the support they give is phenomenal. I mean totally phenomenal. My back doesn't hurt when I'm wearing one. I have no straps digging into my shoulders, nothing.

Nothing like a good steel boned corset to make the profile a little sleeker lol.

Actually, even tight lacing isn't turning out to be as dangerous as once thought. Especially since these days women don't start doing it from adolescence and generally don't wear their corsets every single day.

You know, pregnancy dislocates your internal organs, too...

Sometimes it was started in infancy. truly horrific. Kinda funny, we look down on foot binding and other forms of "Body mutilation" yet those of us with European background have done it during the not so distant past

Well, I don't wear anything uncomfortable. I wear cotton underwear, cotton slips if I need a slip, the most comfortable bras I can find. I've worn body shaping things or girdles in years past when I had to go to weddings or whatnot, and these things are sweaty and uncomfortable for me. I hate pantyhose, too, for the same reason. I can't stand being uncomfortable. So I just "let it all hang out"

I find corsets extremely comfortable. I don't find bra straps digging into my shoulders, or my back getting thrown out on a regular basis because of crappy bra support (no matter what I get) very comfortable

It's fun cumming all over on them.......
