It's all speculation I guess, but wouldn't be really cool if Trent did a really bare-bones album exploring a single instrument, say a piano, as he's pretty nifty at it.

Really looking forward to the new offering, whatever area it explores. My suggestion is that we get a sequence of MS20 images, each with single keys progressively shown down, from bottom to top - synth progress bar ?

Looks like everyone has forgotten about the possible ''The fragile Re-issue''

Anyways, I don't know whether he is still on Twitter or not, I found a post that stated ''1st official day of work in the studio'' and that was two weeks ago.

I don't know if he has a finished album that only needs to be recorded or that he is working on a new album that is still in progresss. If that really is the case, I think two weeks is too short to announce any big official news, concidering the time he has been working on ''The fragile'' and ''With Teeth''.

We / I don't really know anything but a possible ''The fragile Re-issue'' that should be released sometime in the first quarter of the year. ( If that is even going to happen, I just read it somewhere )

Maybe the clues for YZ2 are in the instruments that were auctioned off?????

Asked if a recorded collaboration was on the cards, Numan said "Yes. I know he wants to carry on doing music things. We went out a few days after [the LA gigs] with a few other people and the way he puts it is when the dust settles – I think he means his marriage – but I think he’s going to be pretty busy for a while, so it’ll either be later this year or early next."

And that cheesy bullshit is how Trent gets paid for what he does.

This sucks, I just got home and i got on my computer and went to this site and it wouldn't load so I was excited thinking that maybe there's been an update or something but then I try again five minutes later and I get on the site and it's still the same except for the code organ thingy put up by Rob.

02/21/10 4:25 AM

This site needs another spike of interest.
Straight through its stupid fucking head.

02/21/10 9:15 AM

I'm still amazed by how much Trent made off of the first instillment of Ghosts! What a cash cow that was for him!

La Mer speech

I re-visited this speech because of this post. I started thinking of the significance of Trent’s words and his various states of mind over the years in our lives as NIN fans. I don’t believe in God, but I thank whatever it was that convinced Trent to stay. If he had died beside the ocean during those dark days, this thread would not be here, these pictures wouldn’t be, the excitement, anticipation, anxiety, (add your misc. feeling), would not be lurking within each one of us, haunting us every day, as we wait for something new.

Whatever comes our way in the near, or not-so-near future, I will be thankful for it. Since the Pretty Hate Machine days, Trent has continually added to the sound track that completes my life, while sharing parts of his own – and I will be eternally grateful.

Has anyone tried the image urls in codeorgan?
To my ears, they sound vaguely ghosts-ish.

Pure speculation? Probably.
But interesting nonetheless...
