it'd be cool to hear something with the abstractness, anger, experimentality and noisiness of previous albums all mixed into one, and maybe some influence from some obscure urban legends, perhaps, and incorporating some horror-ambient elements...

i've been listening to this all day...

The Fragile's re-release should include a darker, bleaker sequel with it, or something like that should be released alongside it. that could be cool...

I could not AGREE with you more... You took the words right out of my mouth. Something dark is something I am severely craving from Trent Reznor, and Nine Inch Nails. It is completely relevant...

oh man. you gotta be kidding me. that audio sounds so fucking amateur.

You all are too funny, what you all don't understand is that both Atticus and Trent fused together to form one godly being to make the next NIN album, and his name is Trenicus Reznos

........If I'm wrong, then I feel very stupid, I guess I watched DBZ too many times

i dont think trent would do so much cock-teasing if it was a re-release for an anniversary (pretty hate machine, fragile). that definately isnt trent from behind.... heads the wrong shape, looks more like atticus tbh.

and all this speculation of a re-release i find implausible, as in one interveiw trent was quoted saying something along that lines of 'expect something new, and also something not NIN' (that was in Kerrang! last year after the manchester gig in the uk)

i'm praying it's the 'something new'

something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue... oh wait, he already did that....

I don't know if you guys remember this, but towards the end of the AVOTT the gift (I'm not sure which show he said it in), Trent joked around about the "big fucking titties" after the bra was thrown on stage, and then said "and now some more depressing music". The fact that he said it in an almost joking manner shows that Trent, even musically, is not at the same place at all (as if we need more proof than the interviews and happiness he found in marriage) he was in around the time of The Fragile.

If people don't see the underlying themes of self-discovery and personal redemption from a destructive pattern in The Slip, then I think we've missed out on one of the most important turns-for-the-better in music themes.

I don't think Trent will ever trade dissonance, noise, and electronic subtones for pop grooves and bubblegum beats cough-Cornell-cough, but I don't think he's going to retrograde to the underlying dark motiphs of 90's era albums.

And I'm thankful for that.

Too much pop is correct. Im looking past that... If we want pop we can turn on the radio... Im loving the idea everyones in a dark mood...

And just for that, Trent's gonna write songs for and produce Britney Spears' next album!

And after that, he's going to work on the next Nickelback album.

Now that's going to hurt!

4 dimensional Fragile reissue?

Here's some theories. The colors on the computer screen, the pink, dark pink, green... All Fragile related colors.

The two keyboards in the earlier picture, one for typing, one the instrument. Fragile was two discs. Always seen a Starfuckers/Fragile contrast too, maybe that's just me.

The skull. Nothing necessarily dark and evil about it. It is what it is. A skull always represents something organic though, and the Fragile just seems like the organic album to me.

I don't know, correlated though it sort of makes sense.

Thinking it can't be a new release of "the fragil", it's been done before (things falling apart). I believe it is something new! Not 100% sure of that. Perhaps, music from other records but "remixed". I dunno! He had some time off (?) and time for a "new" record (?). He states not that long ago that he was headed to the studio. (?)(don't quote me on the exact words) Also he said he wont be touring the new release, which makes me believe that it is something "new".

I guess we will find out "SOON"!

Would like to see another version of "still" (different songs of course)

If Nickelback touches a NIN song, I will protest!!

I will fucking chain myself to a tree and yell to every passerby,

"Stop Nickleback from destroying good work!"

"If they play, we'll stay!"

"Fuck that, we've got NIN's back"

I'll you-tube it.

lol..

Okay, I wouldn't really protest, but geez...that's a scary thought.
