Doubtful. It looks a lot like it's a Blue mic, but they make too many that look the same to be distinguishable from that photo.

@ghostpiggy: because Trent has stated several times that another Ghosts and YZ2 are both projects that are very, very likely to be produced in the future. It's a lot easier to speculate on something that's been announced that to take wild stabs at what he may or may not be up to.

As for the possible tour hopes out there: I would LOVE a tour b/c I've never seen them live and feel life would be so much better for the honor and experience, BUT they are selling their entire touring rig on eBay. It wouldn't seem to make sense to make a huge life decision to sell all your gear and tell the world that you're done for an indefinite period of time only to change your mind a few months later. I think Trent is pretty fucking smart and wouldn't make a decision like stopping touring lightly.

On the upside we all at least know we have something to look foward to this year!

Its a Condenser mic with a cardioid polar pattern, frequency response is pretty wide basically, 20hz to 20khz. It looks like its got a presence boost that starts around 3khz and dips back down at around 10khz and then rises again around 12khz or something like that.

Yeah but that would mean then that the numbers in the pictures were planned out as well which doesn't make too much sense really.

Which is actually pretty simple, because it only takes ctrl-v into a new photoshop document to change the date to today. (if there wasnt a tool for that, also)
