Maybe Trent had to re-do, remix, whatever, because he wasn't completely satisfied with how it all sounded. Maybe the artwork/printing/manufacture has been holding up the works. Maybe it's something personal and private (which is none of our business). Whatever it is, I hope everything is good with him, and I'm sure he'll speak to us when he's ready.

When it's done, and when he's ready to release it... I don't think he really cares about a time line.. He's retired from touring with NIN, he's auctioned off all of the tour gear.. He's probably looking to get himself into a relaxed situation, enjoy his new life with his new wife.. And .. get back to where he creates music for the joy of it.. Yes I'm sure Trent will still view music as a profession and a source of income, but I think part of the point is to shift the position of it.. It may have been getting to a point where the profession was starting to drive the process.. rather than the joy driving the profession. Either way, the fans win .. If Trent is in a position where he's comfortable, happy and enjoying what he's doing to the fullest, I think we'll end up with some of the best NIN yet. If he's smart, he's enjoying his life and not adhering to a production schedule, his schedule probably revolves around his life these days rather than his life having to revolve around his schedule.. and I think the man deserves that very much.
