My god, this is fucking amazing! Those horns are orgasmic.

Just listened to it for the first time and I gotta say for being apart of this film, this sounds really great, don't know why people continuously complain about anything that Trent does, it's like they expect too much or something, but I think from what the film's Trailer shows, this seems to fit perfectly for the tone it provides, just bounces you all over and I like that...

06/04/10 4:46 PM

Wow, I'm actually pretty impressed. I admit, I hadn't been hoping for an instrumental track, but this is pretty fucking cool. Especially at around 1:23 when all that distortion suddenly kicks in again after the quiet part.
My interest has certainly been peaked for both the film and the soundtrack.

My advice: Listen to this song late at night blasted in your car. You will fall in love with this song.

Just thought I'd say that after a while this song has gotten even better for me - listen to it in a dark room on a proper system with your eyes closed and it takes you to so many damn places it's ridiculous. There's so much too it. I think my favourite is the quiet ambience near the end with the piano coming in gently only for the horns to treat your ears!

06/20/10 3:48 AM

This became my wake up song in Peru, that and it gives you this feeling as if you're about to beat the crap out of someone! grinning smiley

06/21/10 3:59 PM

wait, wait, wait- isn't "Metal" the song he should have used for this movie?

06/21/10 5:19 PM

^^ Bwahahaha!

Has anyone actually seen these movies? My girlfriend and I tried to watch the first one (Tetsuo The Iron Man I guess it's called) and we made it like a half hour in before we shut it off because it was confusing and there was no fucking explanation of what was going on.

08/03/10 8:44 PM

I've seen The Iron Man, I love it. Drill dick ftw.

08/04/10 4:50 AM

CD dispatched today.

08/10/10 11:53 AM

CD landed today! Prob. on eBay tomorrow once I've got it on us iPhone!

08/10/10 12:06 PM

Sorry, love NIN, love Trent and basically every thing he does is amazing in some way....but this is not my fave

08/11/10 2:43 AM

Now listened to the whole Soundtrack, very impressed. The Theme is good but Chu Ishikawa has done a great job & some tracks on there are better than Trent's!

08/11/10 2:58 PM

^ i was VERY impressed as well. very abrasive but deep compositions; very thick atmosphere, but very dense without a particularly large number of layers. sorta like the YZ approach but much closer to '80s industrial, with a lot of focus on the 2/4 drum beat and a lot of bass guitar and metal percussion.

08/29/10 9:00 PM

i finally got it. Its a fantastic track. First listens i couldn't make figure the song out, but tonight it clicked. Thats what I've been missing. More.

08/30/10 7:37 AM

sounds like Alec Empire remixed a track from Ghosts not my fav ninstrumental but I gotta give him props for experimenting it was very unsettling at times and then the piano kicked in it was like musical valuium in a sea of chaotic noise

just watched Tetsuo:The Iron Man. It was fucking brillent, visualy stunning, creative and totally fucked up. Right along the lines of Eraserhead, check it out, they have the full movie with subtitles on youtube. It makes the song TR did for Bulletman that much better.

My girlfriend and I watched the first 20 minutes or so on Netflix and we gave up when we didn't know what the fuck was going on.

And it wasn't the cool kind of, "I don't know what the fuck is going on, but I like it," it was the bad kind of, "I don't know what the fuck is going on and this is really retarded. Why is that robot arm lady chasing him? Is he the same guy from before? Who was that guy with the pipe in his leg? Why the fuck did he do that? Why isn't there any fucking dialogue? Who are these people?"

Don't see what everyone's problem is with this is. I'm really digging it. Love all the gritty synths as well as the piano theme. I would fucking love more of this.

09/20/10 3:19 AM

Again this song sounds utterly amazing but one thing I want to know is: Is there any other music out there that sounds like this? It doesn't matter if it's just like the noise parts. Because I'm loving this and I want it to continue. This has become one of my favourite NIN songs!

09/21/10 5:19 AM

Chu Ishikawa (Der Isenrost) if you can find anything, composed the music for all Tetsuo films (including The Bullet Man).
Trent's industrial/noise contribution fits absolutely perfectly with the film/soundtrack aesthetic.

nice. i'm digging it. a lot. people who claim it's all just noise - have you not heard any of the pre-with teeth remixes or year zero? tongue sticking out smiley

i like that trent is expanding his experiments again since taking a break from being msiter nine inch nails. these soundtracks are giving him more freedom to just explore again. good luck to him.

It's not new, The NIN Hotline obtained it this month but it's 16 years old =)

Great to hear and see it in wonderful quality. This is way better than Theme For Tetsuo Bullet Man, seriously.

Wish there was an extended version; I'd crank this all day long.
