THIS ELECTION IS OVER - THE RESULTS ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST AND THE END OF THIS THREAD

Dear Nine Inch Nails fans,


The election for The Slip is done - and Head Down has been named the victor! Now we move on to Non Album Tracks!


Again the rules:

1. Always vote for the song you like the least.
2. After 1 day (more than 24 hours), the song that got the most votes has to go and will be dismissed.
3. Then vote for a song of the updated list you like the least.
4. This will go on until there is only one song left, and that would be the most popular song out of the "Non Album Tracks".
5. In case of a changed vote only edit your original vote post for that particular round do not post a new post saying "i change my vote to so and so" - that makes it really difficult to count rounds.

6. In case of a tie, there will be one more day to vote for the songs with equal votes only. The song that gets most voted during that day will win.

7. Remember: There is no reason to threaten anybody because one of your favorite songs was voted for. This is a game. Don't take it personally. Let's just have fun and find out, which songs are the most popular among the NINE INCH NAILS fan community.

Here's a bit of a helper in case anyone is looking at this list of songs and thinking "Where the fuck does this song come from?!". You can probably find links for all of them on youtube if you don't have physical copies of everything on this list. I think the Ghosts tracks, Bullet Man, Deep and the Tour Sampler (since it never had a physical release) are the only ones that are mp3 only for me heh.

Yeah I know most of them well enough and have disliked Deep long enough to feel ok with voting it off first. I'll stick them all on my USB key tonite so I can listen to the mix at work tomorrow

Hard though this one, I like all of these tracks.

i'm rooting for Burn. fucking amazing on record and live.

My vote goes to Ghosts 38 - I just like Demon Seed better

It goes to show you how awesome NIN is when the songs that never went onto albums are great too! I want Bullet Man to stay for awhile as I think it's fantastic.

Now thinking about it this is actually going to be one of the hardest ones. Theres songs from every stage of NIN and as a result there is probably the most variation here (not that the albums aren't varied but this all comes from different time periods.

I'll definitely be rooting for their cover of Gary Numan's "Metal" on that round When that election rolls around J let me know and I'll make sure to work up a youtube list of all the songs, hopefully.
