Just watched your interview with Tavis Smiley and you seem to be very happy doing this type work and that movie industry loves your work. It looks like you’re headed for an Oscar for your score on the movie, you deserve it. So now in the future you can compose music for movies that are not so dark. You can really work on projects that are meant what God has given your talent for beautiful music.
Take Care

... Hallelujah! Indeed, now you can work on projects that God meant for you to work on, like your new one ... How To Destroy Angels.

Great job on the remaster. Kinda I want to sounds like something off year zero now. Get down make love sounds like white zombie to me but Im sure you recorded first.

By the way as a nin fan I am very happy with whats come out. The nin track was a bad ass, HTDA was cool, the social network sound track (which is one of the most played cds this year for me), the remaster was on my all time wish list and the hint about the single disk the gift dvd was very nice.

Thanks Trent can not wait for whats happening next year.

Ps anyone know if that interview was posted on the web some place???

You don't have to be insecure.

just saw that interview and let me tell you mr. R, that you are a gentleman. I'd like to see someone asking you to score a sci-fi movie. Nothing horror based, but deep enough to keep the brain processing for a week. You have very good writers in your forums...pity most of us can't afford such a project

Excuse me, maybe it is a dumb question, but what is the new NIN track? Are you talking about the theme for Tetsuo-The Bullet Man?

I would assume so, as the other tracks they listed were the releases from this year. And it was a very good track, I wish Trent had mentioned it on Twitter or something, so more people would know and hear it

Sorry yes I was talking about the theme for Tetsuo-The Bullet Man?

By the way I saw that interview on you tube and for a man with problems or low self worth Trent still managed to make amazing music and I never minded the wait between albums because each one was so deep and different from the last.

Whatever Trents planning I am sure in will be top.

Just ordered the vinyl about ten minutes ago. CAN'T WAIT!!

I'm also all about a remaster of The Fragile. I'll have to snag that when it comes out.
I'm sad because the vinyl is out of my budget. sad smiley
I decided to start a NIN vinyl collection, so I'm going to start at the beginning.

Trent has polished off pretty hate machine, and amped it up. . . it iss a Fantastic fresh look into the album, its crispy almost, sonic, and Deep !!!

Sounds like a contest idea. Would probably be a lot more complicated than a remix contest (time to write a screenplay for a person, rights, budget for the film, reading through it all), but something like that would be fun. A lot of us just get bored.

Maybe you should just buy what you can get cheap. I just bought Year Zero and Y34rz3r0r3mix3d, both for 40$ incl shipping. smiling smiley
That's quite the money I'd have to pay for the PHM remastered vinyl.

I have to have The Fragile though. It is my favorite album!! I also didn't mind paying 30 bucks for the PHM remastered vinyl. Should be here tomorrow, possibly today!
I'm a nut for vinyl though. Just love the sound of it.

F***in' A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought both the CD and the vinyl and they look amazing. Will have to buy another CD to listen to.
