Fantastic news. Congratulations to Trent & Atticus. It's good to see they've received

In addition to the acknowledgment within the NIN fanbase, this will surely throw open even more doors. TR's gonna be spoiled for choice.

(eta: Rhett, I'm assuming that's what you were referring to since it's pretty obvious that it's a parody of the Old Spice commercials and the wording it self is not a diss)

Trent actually signed a printout of that picture once heh, so I think he appreciates it too. It's from The Daily Cuntpunch, if anyone is interested.

He's grown up, and wears suits now.

The acceptance speech is flawless, IMO.

In a room full of people who get paid to memorize and perfectly deliver lines, and who's focus is to win awards, Trent "out did" most of them.

Thanks for this! Why are they so obsessed with taking them down? You only see the tiniest bit of the films and they don't produce DVDs of the Globes do they?

I think it is a copyright issue. (I'm sure someone will come along and clarify this)

The Hulu link I posted (on some other page, but doesn't include the nomination list) should stay up...I believe they have some sort of permission to to so.

You are most welcome. You are right it makes no sense what so ever, however it is a copyright issue. Youtube does not have permission to post a TV broadcast of any type because they do not own the materials, did not pay for them, and are making money of the clip (in an indirect way).

Hulu on the other hand has agreements with all the major networks and are majority owned by NBC who aired the Golden Globes which is why NBC might file for infringement after which Youtube will remove it.

wow! I had every chance to watch the show but bowed out due to not wanting to see a bunch of celebs rubbing elbows with each other while I struggle to pay my bills but...
I totally regret it now!

It's about time this man won SOMETHING.
