Dear Nine Inch Nails fans,


This elimination election is for the Remix Wars series of elections. This is the fourth in a series of 6 elections that takes the NIN songs w/at least 5 official mixes and throw them all in the ring together. For this election we will be covering Eraser. The songs in the series are as follow: Down in It, Head Like a Hole, Mr Self Destruct, Eraser, Closer, The Perfect Drug.

The rules:

1. Always vote for the song you like the least.
2. After about 1 day (around 24 hours*, the song that got the most votes has to go and will be dismissed.
3. Then vote for a song of the updated list you like the least.
4. This will go on until there is only 1 song left and that will be our winner.
5. Please don't change your vote during a round!
6. In case of a tie, there will be one more day to vote for the songs with equal votes only. The song that gets most voted during that day will win. If after 24 hours there is still a tie, the voting will be extended by 3 hours for any new votes or changes. After that, if the tie remains, both songs will be voted off.
7. Remember: There is no reason to threaten anybody because one of your favorite songs was voted for. This is a game. Don't take it personally. Let's just have fun and find out, which songs are the most popular among the NINE INCH NAILS fan community.

these are all so dear to me, maybe i'm going just to spectate

i was looking forward to this election because these mixes are so very different in tone and feel, and it seems that most if not all of these versions have been used in the NIN world in some form or another and thus are all part of our subconscious and voting would be really difficult. but then i realized that maybe i hold these versions near and dear while others don't, and we are down voters anyways


this is really hard for me, so i am going to cop out and just vote ALBUM.

Dissonance was live. I'm a bit sad to see it go, actually, I think the album version could be much improved by having the Dissonance arrangement up until the lyric sections.
