I got my copy, and it's fucking gorgeous. The usb drive is pretty cool too. So glad my mind is at ease knowing everythings worked out. It was nice to finally be able to hear the soundtrack again.

did your usb work? i couldn't get my pc to recognize it as a flash drive.

Same here. USB stick won't be recognized. Neither OSX nor Windows 7.
Absolutely gutted, after waiting since December for it. Other than that it's exactly what I hoped for.

I'm in the same boat as you. USPS shows "Electronic Shipping Info Received" and has shown that status since May 1st... Kinda pissed that after spending this much on the deluxe set and waiting through all these delays that this is the service we are given. Really hope that Trent and crew are aware of these issues and they come up with a better solution for any future releases.

I hate to complain but I'm in the same boat as well. Mine has been in the same status since April 30th. I contacted Topspin and on May 9th they told me that the tracking number had been updated and to give it two more days.

Well...it has been five days...not to mention two weeks since it was "shipped" and still no package. The final kick in the nuts is when I click on the "Bad, I'm unsatisfied" link in Topspin's how did we do email, it tells me that it's a bad token number and I need to log in. That would be fine if Topspin ever would have taken care of my first question as to how to log in since it says my email address (where they emailed me that it had shipped) is not valid.

Like others have said, I don't mind the delays in the product since they seem to have been all about having things up to Trent's standards. However, Topspin and the USPS suck.

And as an FYI...delivery confirmation doesn't really give you tracking via the USPS. It is only when the thing is printed and when it is delivered. The only way the tracking actually gets updated is if it is sent Express Mail OR the kindness of the post office it is traveling through.

A 6 cassette and 6 CD rotator and a 2 cassette deck with a radio and I need to buy a record player for it I think someone threw it away long ago.

Yep, I miss the old Nine Inch Nails interviews in 1994 where on MTV the cute Kennedy on Alternative Nation asked Trent Reznor what was in His CD Player with David Bowie maybe that one was in 1995 with the I'm Afraid of Americans music video it was big awesome news, too cool!

Actually, NONE of this would look as bad as it does if we hadn't seen that people in other countries received theirs BEFORE people like us in the US.

I could have driven out to any location in America now, picked it up myself, and been back in less time. This is insane.

Mine just showed up at my local depot with a £50 customs charge. Raging doesn't even cover it. What a total cluster fuck.

Exact same thing happened to me with the HTDA vinyl. Email them about the issue, and they'll send through a refund (via paypal is an option).

But don't blame them, blame HM Customs and Excise

Topspin - customs didn't do anything wrong, it's Topspin who failed to correctly assess the postage to the UK (and thus making some people fork over a lump of money they shouldn't have to.
Oddly, if you'd chosen courier delivery, it would've been cheaper, as those companies absorb the customs charge for an order this large. Fuck logic etc.
