HELL-O! *wipes up drool puddle*

I'm sorry, where's that from?

I think I like Trent (the person vs just his music) more and more every day, with all the interviews I read/listen to. I really like the direction he's taking his life. Actually, it wasn't until I "re-discovered" NIN about 2 months ago that I've been motivated for once in my life to actually DO something with myself.

I do tend to drool over his younger physical self, but he's such a gorgeous person inside and out now, that it blows me away!

Trent is a very sexy & attractive guy & he always has been and im sure that he will remain that way.
His sexiness oozes from his awesome voice and his incredible talent & music and obviously his appearance from the past to the present.
so Trent now or then ????? Id say anytime !winking smiley

The main thing is that Trent is living his life the way he wants to live it and he is able to do everything that he wants to do, no matter what he looks like.

01/20/09 2:14 PM

There were some things about him back in "the day" that were interesting and exciting at the time, the long hair, the cornstarch, the heavy makeup...but really, at his age, if he tried to do that again he'd end up looking like Ozzy Osbourne. And as much as I love Ozzy, he looks seriously shitty these days.

Trent's grown up, he's matured, and he actually has a sense of self-worth and dignity now, at least it appears so. I like the fact that he's moved forward and grown as opposed to being stuck in a mythological persona.

On the subject of appearance, I've said it before; Trent could dye his hair blonde and dress like Rod Stewart for the rest of his life, and I'd still love the living daylights out of him.

Now. Now he looks fit, healthy and happy. I did prefer him with long hair though, I love long hair on men.

Well, Trent and I are the same age. And when I look at pictures/videos of Trent from the old days, I just feel kind of sad. He was young and pretty. And so was I. Well, I was prettier, anyway (I was never actually "pretty" ). When I look at those old pictures I guess I am just reminded of my own lost youth. When I look at Trent these days, he seems tougher, stronger, more controlled and more masculine. I guess that's a good thing. He is of course still beautiful, but I look fondly on those young pictures of Trent. He had an almost feminine beauty when he was younger.

I think Trent looked darker then, which isn't a bad thing. The look then goes along with his music, but he does look a lot better now. he seems to be healthier. I would have to say I like both.

It's great that he's sobered up and has his life back on track, but I'd have to say "THEN", for the music and live performances. They're still great, and the New Orleans show during the LITS tour was probably the best day of my life so far, but by the looks of it, "THEN" was even better.

Trent will always continue to make amazing music and look good performing it.

01/21/09 7:35 PM

How about just "Trent Reznor", as is.

01/21/09 9:13 PM

now cause his music evolves and you cant have the now without the then, take now away you have no ghosts, no slip, no lights in the sky

no forum to ask this question grinning smiley

so i guess i should really say both lol

01/28/09 10:35 PM

Both are sexy—but I am so glad that Trent is healthy now.

01/29/09 10:19 AM

Trent Reznor was a BAMF then & he's a BAMF now! But bigger, stronger & harder than ever!

01/30/09 5:39 AM

01/30/09 11:35 AM

I will always love Trent as the brooding absinth drinking victorian but I have to say.

This is the one he is now and he's still just as hot as he always was! Only there's something more lovable and adorable about him now smiling smiley

So yeah, now...AAAAND he needs to stop sitting like me on the couch! Either that or I'm terribly unfemanine when I sit on a couch. confused smiley

I love the evolution he has been through emotionally, musicwise, ...

so the whole package!

02/03/09 4:58 PM

If I could go back and relive TDS days...I would. Who he was then will always hold a special place in my heart. He may have been fucked up but he wrote some great music and put on some of the best shows I have ever seen to this day.
Not to say that I don't appreciate him or his talent today, I wouldn't be here or still go to shows, but he always looks like he needs about two weeks worth of sleep and his shows don't pack the same kind of punch to me. That being said, I don't think he's quite ready for the old folks home just yet.tongue sticking out smiley

02/04/09 9:17 PM

I'm reminded of a scene in Spaceballs:

When is this happening?
Now.
Right now?
No. Now just passed.
So when will then be now?
Soon..........

02/04/09 9:54 PM

He seems like a better person today, but I liked the intensity of then. When I picture NIN live, my mental image will always be skinny Trent running around screaming and breaking shit.
