These new NINites are a weird bunch. More like NINnies. Creeped out by the Broken movie? This kind of post comes from the same people who say all this "trent is God" and "What are reznor and _ broad up to?" bullshit. Idol worship is weinery. I never gave a shit about Mr. Reznor's private life. These forums contain a lot of gooey garbage. I want hard news only. This "The Broken movie is disturbing" thread helps to perpetuate the notion that all NIN likers are whiny, sensitive little twats. It just drives me crazy when I see Tds and Broken sandwiched between linkin Park and afi cd's . It's ridiculous. You want Fucked up? Read American Psycho or anything by DeSade. Maybe some Cannibal Corpse lyrics. I love this movie and all those who think it's too disturbing; I hope you die of AIDS.

Hey, shutup, there was that one good AFI album. Black Sails In The Sunset. When they were being all badass and horror punk. Also the All Hallow's EP; Totalimmortal fucking rocks.

I don't know precisely how to describe this word for word, but whenever I'm extremely aggravated and/or depressed to the extent of going ballistic, watching the Broken movie tends to relax me a lot. It really calms me down and helps me regain my composure whenever that happens. (Otherwise, it can still be one fuck of an eyesore.) I just love the lyrics to Gave Up, and watching it to that type of video was awesome.cool smiley I was only able to get it from some random blog, and have saved it onto my computer, and a flash drive of mine. Too bad it's rather blurry though. I would still love to acquire it on DVD some day. (As in an official release, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.)winking smiley

I thought it was well done for what it was. I dont really have any interest in horror or ultra-violent stuff, but it's cool that they pulled it off like that. Clearly he had an idea of what he wanted to accomplish w the movie, and it worked.

I dont know how many Hollywood people have seen it, but if you've seen the Chainsaw Massacre remake w Jessica Biel, that crappy movie is basically a copy of Broken. The end w the cops walking through the basement w the black and white footage, is basically a re-shoot of the Gave Up video.

Broken Movie is not anywhere near being my favorite thing NIN has done, but I appreciate it's role. It's just one more unique facet to this thing that is NIN.

I recently watched this finally and I think the whole hysteria with this film being so extreme and twisted sort of makes it less of a heavy experience. I think I was more interested to see Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson visually interpret NIN. "Broken" is like an interesting industrial multi-media experiment.

I honestly have to say that I am a bitch considering getting scared easily I mean I always jump when my phone rings and well okay I did watch the final destination and the ring movies but from what I heard here compared to that it seems like disney movie
and see I even admit it...well okay I did watch them on closure but okay...the other videos (which means all except the "movie version" of gave up) are pretty "childish" compared to that (sorry I don't speak english that well I don't know the word) so maybe I wait awhile till I "hardened the fuck up" and we'll see

I watched it. For some reason I prefer it over the Saw movies. It's twisted as fuck, but for some reason I cannot bear to watch the Saw movies.

Not really a Vs, more a "putting the wrong music to a music video".

I can understand that, I find it strangly soothing because it is so engrossing that I lose myself in it and forget what ever was giving me the shits in the first place.

Remember when the FBI shit their pants over Down In It? Well I couldn't imagine what they thought of Broken! I heard that they questioned Trent about it..
