I'm going to do as many other people in this thread and just pretend I'm writing a letter to express my fond respect for Trent Reznor, his band Nine Inch Nails and all the arts surrounding this act.
The With Teeth tour in 2005 that I went to witness in Montreal was absolutely powerful and great. It was my first live experience of any big act and of course of my foundest band and I can never forget that night. I loved to see Jeordie and Josh with Nine Inch Nails. I frankly didn't know Aaron and Alessandro. My loss I guess.
This time around, in Montreal again, it was unbelievable. I don't think I need to exaggerate any words to express how wonderful the result of all that work you and your whole team did was. I loved to see Josh, Alessandro, and specially Robin that really added to the And All That Could Have Been DVD, all back on this tour. The production and all the lights' "live stunts" blew me away and I was as impressed as I'll ever be. You explode in energy and put on a live show that only few bands can only pretend being able to do.
It is sad labels don't know anymore (or did they ever know...) the meaning of art is not associated with money. It's sad they cannot recognize it and it's even more sad they won't promote it. They treat artists like dogs, simply put. It's very discouraging being a new artist, maybe even a rising one, specially since we're facing difficult times.
I wish you, fondly, to continue to be able to give your fans an extremely dangerously good show through out the next leg and for the, hopefully, many tours to come.
