It's just, Michael (Trent), your music means so much. Hearing your voice and your lyrics has changed me. It has helped me to explain whatever I am.

I have gone through a lot more then a lot of people I know; I won't hold anything back.

I've been sexually abused, had an uncle commit suicide, tried to myself twice, a slightly screwy mother, the most insensitive person for a father, a rather horrible childhood experience altogether. I had to carry my grandma's casket back in October at her funeral, with the person who touched me as a child. At times, the future doesn't look bright.

And then I put on some nin, and then I can come to grips with everything. I can maybe explain myself. I get a message; and I connect with someone who wrote a song.

I make music too; and of course, you have influenced me there too.

I don't mean to be all whiny and like I want pity; I don't I just want you to know, that your work and you mean a lot to me.

Now I ponder this: why not just focus on the footage that IS YOURS? There is plenty of material from the tracks of With Teeth, Year Zero, Ghosts and The Slip. LP's where I am thinking you have full unadulterated legal control and domain.

Oh well, this is my two cents, which probably has a value of none since the majority of it is speculation.

No, take another step back and a minute to think about everything Trent has done in the past 3-4 years. The man has been working his ass of non-stop.

I don't know about any one you, but I understand how it feels to work really hard for that long without that much of a break. Granted, I'm not doing things on a level anywhere near Trent's, but I know the feeling... you get burnt out.

And as we all know(or should know by now) Trent puts so much of himself into everything he puts out there for us and he is genuinely upset when he can't give us everything he wants to. So instead of bitching, moaning, getting pissed off and feeling like we're missing out, we should all be thankful that Trent has given us as much as he has.

Some of you may think of him as a god, but he is only human. He does have a life and, as much as some of us fans might not want it to be the case, his life doesn't have to revolved around making us happy all the time.

So Trent, thank you so much! Thank you for all the hard work you've done just trying to make us happy. Thank you for creating amazing, powerful, honest music and sharing it with us. Thank you for putting on shows so amazing that they leave us breathless and wanting more. I hope you will continue to give the fans everything they ask for, but I certainly will not be holding it against you if you do not. I'm just glad you shared your gift for music with us as long as you have. Thanks for that too.
