Don't you just hate bad timing/relying on others for answers?
I went to the Lexington, Kentucky and Columbus, Ohio shows. I loved both equally and was so amazed and in awe of the amount of preparation it must have taken to put together such a large scale show.
Now about this project that you had lined up with Cameron and Co: just let it slide off your back. You have had a very ambitious year and you've already kicked major ass. Unleashing what I would consider the greatest box set, (ghost uber super duper deluxe version), of music to come out in a very long time and a tour to match. There is nothing half-assed about you my friend. When you set your mind to something, you know what you want, and won't settle for less than the best.
I too would have loved to have seen a film from this tour. To date it has been my favorite NIN show. You have grown so much as a person. The older mature Trent Reznor that's got his shit together is very appealing. Don't give up. You have many other brilliant projects ahead of you and I'm sure they'll blow us away. Besides, the economy sucks now, and an expensive project like that after an expensive tour can't be good on the wallet. Save your funds, stay in touch with your fans, and get yourself ready for the next step, after a much needed rest
Nobody is expecting Trent Reznor to jump out of a giant lemon* or a disco ball* (*pop mart and madonna tour reference) Well, maybe a Jeff Koons egg, but not a lemon or a disco ball
