I wonder what you would feel like if it were you that was in the wrong spot at the wrong time wearing that digital watch. I wonder if you would feel this same way then.
It's obviously not good that people are put through 'torture' falsely. However if even one of the few (and yes, contrary to what the media say it is a few) provide some information that will prevent the deaths of hundreds to thousands of people it would have been worth it imo.
FTR - I completely disagree with the usage of artists songs without their permission and also the usage of physical torture such as waterboarding etc. Though psychological stressing has been shown to be even more effective with less 'long-term' damage. This has been going on for years and will go on for longer, And like it or not, intelligence provided by these methods has saved lives.
The fact that people only care about this when their favourite band is involved is rather disturbing.
