I am very glad I had the opportunity to see you put on one hell of a show here in Jacksonville (had a chance to sell ticket for 80 dollars, refused), Even though I was tired and sick as a fucking dog and my dad was complaining the entire show. Hell, how could have I forseen 5 years ago when I first stumbled upon NIN that this might lead to such an amazing... part of my everyday live, not just as a fan of the music, but as an admirer of many things you stand for. It's been an an brillant year for being a fan of you and your art, and I'm confident that it will be dwarfed by the years to come. So you & all the people mentioned above, have a merry Christmas and, as we say "einen guten Rutsch" into the new year!

Hes not the same guy/band as he was during TDS and The Fragile. He's still going to be in the world and create, just look at the track record. And NIN isnt done, just this phase of the band is over. Just like PHM, TDS, or the With Teeth era is over. The band has been a rotating roster of members since its creation. As much as Cortini, and the gang have been an influence on NIN's modern sound, its still really NIN = Trent Reznor. This isnt the last time we'll see Reznor by any means, just look at the web interview that the kid did before the last show (posted here in the forums), he is definiately not throwing in the towel, but merely streamlining and morphing the band. The most recent video interview settled my concerns, and it should for everyone else as well. Look at how long people had to wait back in the day. I remember when The Fragile came out, it was like the second coming of Jesus. He has to refill his bucket of creativity from time to time, to keep the great stuff coming.
