I suspect he may give up the large scale touring (for a while) .. but I cannot even fathom he'd give up music .. he won't hang it up and go fishing.. I think what we'll see is a Trent that is more focused, doing side projects and probably an occasional single release via the web, or perhaps entire records released digitally .. probably more experimental than ever.. and as Trent said in the past.. perhaps small tours, in small venues.. with just him and the audience..
