Definetly Year Zero.
I just wasn't in to the whole Doomsday concept. NIN albums always felt very personal and autobiographical to me, as if they chronicled Trents' life through music. Even if some the other albums are also concept albums, they still feel very introverted.
Then we have Year Zero... an album about a corrupt World Order, drugged drinking water, and religious hallucinations, among other things. Year Zero always sticks out like a sore thumb to me whenever I look at the NIN catalog.
I wish Year Zero was released as Trent Reznor instead of Nine Inch Nails to keep it distanced from the rest of the material. IMO all the albums go together and tell a story of sorts, except that one. It doesnt fit with the rest. It just never felt right to me.
On top of that... about half of that album I consider to be pretty mediocre, compared to the greatness that is the rest of the halos.
