I remember seeing NIN on that first Lollapalooza with Jane's here in Orlando. NIN played during the day and the fog machines didn't exactly have the same affect as it does in doors and in the dark. As my older brother put it, man it looks like that group is having some big BBQ.
I'll be glad to see NIN stripped down to the bear essentials and not have everything planned out with the video's etc... They have lost that sense of dangerous where you never knew what was going to happen. Lights over the Sky was one of the best technical shows I've ever seen, but it didn't have that sense of danger.
As for Jane's. One of the best shows I've ever seen was at that Lollapalooza and when they reunited the last time. As long as Perry doesn't give a big speech, it will kick ass. Perry can be a little winded sometimes
Maybe you guys could get the Henry Rollins Band to open up or Ice-T's Body Count
