I am completely shocked, thats the point. i listen to them almost everyday and hold it dear to me. NIN has the best music that i have ever heard in my entire life. period. I hate to see them go away for a while. Dont try to correct my previous posts to make yourselves think you'll boost your self esteems. Im just sad.

I remember seeing NIN on that first Lollapalooza with Jane's here in Orlando. NIN played during the day and the fog machines didn't exactly have the same affect as it does in doors and in the dark. As my older brother put it, man it looks like that group is having some big BBQ.

I'll be glad to see NIN stripped down to the bear essentials and not have everything planned out with the video's etc... They have lost that sense of dangerous where you never knew what was going to happen. Lights over the Sky was one of the best technical shows I've ever seen, but it didn't have that sense of danger.

As for Jane's. One of the best shows I've ever seen was at that Lollapalooza and when they reunited the last time. As long as Perry doesn't give a big speech, it will kick ass. Perry can be a little winded sometimes

Maybe you guys could get the Henry Rollins Band to open up or Ice-T's Body Count

LOL ill be checking out a few NIN shows while rocking my unemployment check, awaiting word from a federal job lady.

Trent and his music has shaped us a lot. It made most of us who we are and continues to influence the music we like today.

I think he's done well with his work. Let's just enjoy it and have a good time!

You have been part of my life with your music for the last 15 years. I'm now 19 which means a lot to me. I love your work. It inspires me and it helped me a lot and many times because of its sincerity, its truthfulness, its deep feelings and absolutely beautiful music and songs hidden in the noises and sounds. IN A WORD: AMAZING!

It's funny, two days ago ( on the 14th) I put on the net my first single ever, called Let Go, and all I've got so far are good comments (thanks JMJ!)...it feels like I may have attained my goal at last. 2 days later I see that my main inspiration and absolute favourite band might be going down the doom after 2009. I'm not sad...I feel more like...I will stop seeing a friend(your music of course) but I know he will still be there. I have to thank you mr. Reznor and despite the fact we've never had any contact, I will thank you in the liner notes of my debut album for all you've given me and the world.


I will sure wave goodbye with deep sincere thanks and admiration if you come back to Montreal on this last(?) tour...
