Ya know, I heard the live version of Not So Pretty Now and thought it was kinda NIN by the numbers track... now, maybe it was the shoddy youtube quality, or because I cant "relate" to the lyrics like other NIN songs, or just the style it was performed in, but I'm loving it now.

And this Non-Entity beats out the benefit version, in my opinion. They way everything is stripped away in this studio version... the buffered, powerful drums alongside that defeated sounding synth. Lyrically and thematically, everything seems to fit. "Missing in the maze of monochrome" I love modern alienation. The song feels like a uniquely bizarre amalgamation of Zero Sum and Right Where It Belongs.

Well, I suppose no one was asking for a review, but thanks for the tracks. Best versions of both songs I've heard yet.

(Whores sounds great, and that Street Sweeper interview was enlightening.)

Agreed! I love "Whores"!!

Ahhhh, the fact that I'm going to FINALLY see Jane's is a dream come true!! And with NIN!!

Oh and "Non-Entity" is friggin' awesome. One of my favorite songs.
Really feelin' the Street Sweeper songs too!
