Right, so if people don't want to choose, then they can either not answer at all or post "I don't care, you decide." Not, Why are we being asked to choose AGAIN, just get it the fuck over with.

Trent is the one who wants someone to ask him the questions. The moderators must have felt that maybe non-mod people would like to have some input into this. It seems otherwise. Good, so they can just pick a person and do it. That STILL doesn't mean it's going to happen tonight or tomorrow or within 24 hours or whatever. It will take time to set this up and since it's what Trent wants, I guess we'll all have to live with that.

See, I was under the assumption that he would fly one of the MOD's out and let them conduct an interview with him. I think the MOD's should select amongst themselves by some kind of voting process or like someone else stated pull names from a hat or something- but I would go for straw pulling. That is if Trent's intention are to let someone in his space.

But any-way's I think a couple of MOD's should interview Trent in person, (I say two people because of Legal reasons)And yes, I've been around Famous people and wealthy people, and they value their personal privacy a lot. Please DO NOT SELECT A MEMBER under no circumstance.

Oh yeah MOD's Make sure you practice before actually interviewing Trent so that you can look professional like Kevin from Digg.

The MOD's are human, they can conduct themselves professionally around Trent if he want's them to interview him in person.

Well, the way it's looking now is "soon" might be a bit more accurate as the mods who are interested in the task are going to record demos/test runs reading a few of the questions, for the rest of the team to take a look at. They'll also be doing some tests to ensure the recording software doesn't conk out after 15 or 30 minutes. We'll try and choose the best interviewer of the bunch based on the results of all this.

ETA for this process to be done is shaping up to be Friday, then assuming Trent is available, the interview would happen on the weekend. This is all tentative of course, but seems like a reasonable time frame.

OMG I love that show! Just watched it.

They are making it as technical and as hard as Sheldon would...in fact this task would make a great plot line for one of the episodes. I can just see it now!

Props to the MODs though, at least they are being thorough so it turns out great in the end! Plus on the upside it will be done right as school finishes for the semester.
