I've made enough people pissed, I'll stop now.

I hope it's true. Or continue in the Shitlist. Seriously Fernando, the whining got old a long time ago. I was one of the people who were sorry for you when those shows were cancelled but now you've managed to annoy even me. So really, just stop it.

Getting right to the point, we're going to play a handful of shows in NYC, Chicago and LA starting August 22nd. They will be informal affairs in medium to small venues with longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers and other surprises. Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight - it just didn't feel right to end NIN that way. An offer to headline V-Fest in Toronto (being announced soon) set the idea in motion to play some FUN shows to end this up with. If we can get it together we'll film these shows, too.In NYC we'll be playing Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5. In Chicago, the Aragon Ballroom. In LA we'll be at The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex. These should be cool, unusual and unique shows and I hope you come out - this is it.So far, The Horrors will be joining us for some shows in NYC, Mew will be with us at other shows in NYC, Chicago and LA, and perhaps more.Details and ticket info will be announced shortly, so check back. Thanks,Trent
[/quote Mew is my cats name

NYC, that's good

I hope I feel better and can go sad smiley

07/07/09 2:38 PM

YES. YES. YES. But please, let's try and make the ticket buying opportunities as fair as possible! I don't know how to do that, but God it would be so unfair if tickets went to the highest bidders on ebay. Then again, whenever I try and buy presale tickets, it fails. Maybe it should just be whoever can line up at the venue early enough! That really would be the best way, since it depends on sheer willingness to suffer outside on a public sidewalk!

Brazilian crowds are the best in the world, way better than a bunch of spoiled Americans who simply sit still during the entire concert.
WTF are you talking about - everyone at the show I went to were on their feet jumping around singing/screaming/hollering the entire time. For someone who shits on Americans in half the posts you make, you sure seem pretty selfish and self-entitled yourself. So fucking jealous it's pathetic.
Hmmm, no, from what I've seen, the excitement isn't quite the same. Especially when the same guy gets to see NIN 4 times a year. You can't even compare.

Hey Fernando, let me tell you: there's Brazilian fans in the US too. I'm one of them. And we enjoy it like it's nobody's business. But I still think Trent should go to Brazil, so my friends there can see him too.

On another note: come back to CO, if you can, Trent. We'll serve you hot cocoa and whatever else you'd like. :-)

Um, we were kind of hoping NIN would, by some huge miracle, squeeze in a show in Munich??!! Oh well, guess not then. The show at the Circus Krone last fall was great, thanks a 1000 times for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH HELL. Wow I can't even grasp how amazing this is. Ticket anxiety already setting in.

07/07/09 2:45 PM

please play in LA after August 30th!!!!! i'll be out there then smiling smiley

07/07/09 2:45 PM

Well, that's reasonable.

Any chance of a M&G at these?

07/07/09 2:47 PM

you need to play new orleans. this town has been too big a part of your history to be ignored for the farewell shows.

07/07/09 2:48 PM

Looks like Trent's having some real trouble giving up NIN.. maybe the rest of his life will just be adding and adding more tour dates lol.

07/07/09 2:49 PM

I think I might need to get a second job to afford a ticket to the Bowery show, but there's no chance in hell I'm missing it.

07/07/09 2:50 PM

I just wanted to tell you one thing guys:

Have fun at the shows! smiling smiley

That NINJA tour in the daylight wouldn't have been the best way to say goodbye. now that really is. I'm jealous a bit, but I'll get my show in 2 weeks, so I'm not complaining.

and lol@Brazilian crowd is the best.

Bowery Ballroom is 550.

07/07/09 2:53 PM

Gonna try for all of the NYC shows....get ready for trying to get the hardest tickets of your life!!! If you guys thought AC was tough :/

07/07/09 2:54 PM

Whatever they do for tickets, I hope they don't use Ticketmaster. Green Day was a nightmare for Webster Hall tickets.

07/07/09 2:56 PM

Ok this is extremely dissapointing. I dished out $250 to go to Bonnaroo to see NIN's final US performace.
Had I known they were making new dates I much would have preferred to put the money toward one of these shows.

07/07/09 3:00 PM

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to Austin/San Antonio! I missed the NIN|JA show in Austin and I keep kicking myself every day for that. Although Trent posted on Twitter that the crowd didn't seem to like the show. I still feel bad for missing it. I got to see LITS in San Antonio and that was AMAZING.

(rolls eyes)
There was plenty of talk that NIN was doing another show at least in Los Angeles as it was leaked on a Live Nation email.

WOO to the fucking HOO! thumbs up

At least Bonnaroo had a good lineup.

Oh wow... eye popping smiley

07/07/09 3:03 PM

Come back to Atlanta please!!!! I want to remember my last NIN show without Jane's Addiction. (I still believe that was a horrible mistake)
