My mom worked at K-Mart during the time and she worked to lile 11 pm. I told her to pick me up a copy and she did. Whenever, I got it I popped it in my cd player and listen to it all the way through. I love NIN since!

I wasn't very much skilled with nin when I bought it. In actuality, the first cd I had was a copy of The Fragile that I burned from the local library. (Yes, I couldn't believe they had The Fragile.)

Was different from everything I'd heard before having grown up on MTV2 & Kerrang! TV. I then bought Year Zero and was completely blown away and have bought every album apart Broken & Ghosts I-IV cos I'm jobless and can't afford them. I have of course taken advantage of downloading, but still want all the albums.

But my brother bought it because I begged him to, so the first album was With Teeth. Unlike the majority, I have a fondness towards With Teeth because I grew up with the album. The backdrop of "branching out", feeling comfortable in one's skin in turn helped me get through some personal problems of my own. That's why it ranks higher on my favorite NIN records than older material. In order: With Teeth- Roughly May 2005??? The Downward Spiral- Summer 2006 The Fragile- August 2006 Further Down the Spiral- 2007 Broken- 2007 Year Zero - April 18, 2007 Year Zero Remixed - Fall 2007 Pretty Hate Machine - Winter 2007/2008 Ghosts I-IV- The minute it was available to download The Slip - The minute it was available to download

Posts: 209	2006.Heard hand that feeds on the radio and thought it was ok......heard only and gradually started to like it more and more....heard everyday is exactly the same and totally fell in love with it..At that point i KNEW i had to buy with teeth.I really knew nothing about nin at the time.If someone would have asked me to name one nin song before i heard those songs from with teeth i wouldn't have been able to name one.I bought with teeth in apr of 06.couple months later i started downloading nin songs out of curiosity..it was dark but still very appealing...couldn't believe how connected i felt to the songs..eventually i set out to download EVERY nin song i could.But since i liked the band so much i still bought the albums.i now view nin as the greatest band of all time. I'm an idiot because nin is now one of my favrorite bands and I'll never get to see them live. Nobody ever comes to Nebraska.

(Seriously I still have the note from my grade school teacher explaining her concern to my parents). After that I didn't get another one till The Downward Spiral (my first CD) in 1994 at one of the warm up shows in AZ. Got it for $10 back when it was cheaper to buy the CD at the live show than at a store. Immediately after TDS I stayed on track buying everything when it first dropped and started collecting every single in crazed fanboy obsessive need (i.e. multiple versions of the same single just because something noticeable was different from another).
