Two songs, "Hurt" and "The Fragile," from Trent's 2006 performance at the Bridge School Benefit, have been released on iTunes as part of The Bridge School Collection Vol 4. In iTunes the tracks can be purchased individually or as part of the full album. All proceeds go to Neil Young's Bridge School.

Sweet! Though it's a shame it's only two of the songs performed :/

11/24/09 11:21 AM

Nice, though the real shame is that the songs are compressed AAC format. No CD available?

11/24/09 11:29 AM

Sweet, glad to finally see them appear somewhere. I'll buy the tracks soon. If only the entire set that Trent did was up. Oh well, two is better than none.

iTunes can suck a giant cock, but I guess there isn't any other way to obtain this lovely CD.

I'm also a huge fan of the Tegan and Sara collection. (no - I'm not a lesbian, I swear.) It's too bad I was never aware of the Bridge School event when I was up at Stanford, otherwise I would have went every year (they have had a few great lineups).

I agree. iTunes fucking blows, and yet its the only way I'll be getting this Bridge School NIN music. Thanks?

Glad that they are being released.....somewhere!

What's wrong with iTunes? It's convenient and affordable. (if you buy full albums) I like it.

At least it's all going to the school, and check out who's winning the "popularity" contest...http://smiliesftw.com/x/rockon_1.gif

I know even though it's 3 years old, it' something new for us! I was at this show, I remember taking my best bud Silvia. It was the first time she saw Trent live... he looked a little Grizzly Reznor, but it was still fabulous!!!

It's funny if you look at those two songs vs. the other downloads the popularity on the album how many times more it was downloaded! Yeah for the NIN fans!

Sorry Krazy95, didn't see your post spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I would love the buy these tracks, but I have PC and PCs don't very much like iTunes... sad smiley Is there another format?

11/25/09 9:05 AM

So are these versions proper soundboards that get rid of the annoying audience? I already have a bootleg of this show that is pretty decent quality and i absolutely loathe iTunes. (And anything other than FLAC files, for that matter.) Basically what im trying to say is, is are these tracks worth downloading, installing, and then uninstalling iTunes? (I'm assuming they are DRM free, right?)

I like this trend of sick music for healthy causes. Right on.

Makes "good" feelings as a byproduct of expressing the "bad feelings".

More of this please!

I listened to The Fragile on headphones. The way this was recorded is incredible! Treble in right ear, bass in left. I felt like I was sitting at the piano!

If this website and the iphone app were more alive the world would be a better place.

HEEEY why the hell didn't it quote properly up there^^^^!? *sadface*

It's news like this that make me be a huge fan of you Trent, not only the music you produce. Aside the format this is being released (that i am sure a lot of people don't like, don't have, can't access) this initiative is to be bowed to. Maybe in a near future you should consider a way to release it with a different format, because not all of your fans use the i thing..grins

Gotta say... I Love, Love, Love the musical RAINBOW!

Love, love, love and more love to you Trenty.

Have the best day ever,
~Lisa

Probably the best $2.16 I've ever spent on iTunes. Especially that $1.08 for "Hurt".
